AR you not entertained?

It seems like every day we are treated to more exciting news involving AR and all the wonderfully creative ways it is being used in a variety of sectors.

Never one to be left out, Live Nation revealed at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity that they will be integrating augmented reality products into various festival apps – the first of which will be Atlanta’s Music Midtown festival in September

Music Business Worldwide covered this story and said:

“The initial suite of AR products in development include an ‘AR Livestream’ that will allow users to view selected performances live from the festival.
With the ‘AR VIP Access’, users onsite and offsite will be able to ‘experience’ parts of the festival that are typically restricted to the general public, such as backstage areas.

The ‘AR Fest Lens’ will allow attendees to point their smartphone toward any of the stages and a lineup will appear identifying which artists will be performing, as well as upcoming acts.”

For a company like Bubbl, this kind of thing is, erm, music to our ears (sorry) – we are perfect bedfellows for these kinds of innovations and love seeing stuff like this happening.

Being a fan is just brilliant these days.

Whilst we are on a Live Nation appreciation vibe, I’d also like to say how awesome it is that they are doing the Women Nation Fund for female-founded music industry startups. This is such a good initiative and something also close to our hearts as we are, ourselves, led by our fearless female leader. Read more about this here.

Thanks to Tim and everyone at Music Business Worldwide for giving us such enjoyable and informative articles. They’ve been an incredible addition to the industry since they started. Check them out if you haven’t already https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/

High fives all round….
